high protein oatmeal cookie

As a person who has a giant sweet tooth, I love cookie. What bothers me is that most cookies are loaded with carb and fat, while providing little protein. Consequently, I try to make a type of cookies of higher protein content.

It does not look great, but the taste is good, though I would say maybe less syrup would be better. It also has less fat in it.


ingredients:
  • 1 cup of oat
  • 1/2 cup of whey protein powder, or other protein powder
  • 1/2 cup of apple sause
  • 1/4 cup of maple syrup (not necessary)
  • 1 tbsp condensed milk
  • 1 tsp grapeseed oil
mix well of all the ingredients. Bake 40 min, 320 fahrenheit.

Old-fashioned Oatmeal recipe for one person

ingredients:

  • 1 cup of milk
  • 1/2 cup of water
  • 1 cup of oatmeal
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1/8 tsp of salt
  • 2 tsp butter


Steps:
  1. add sugar and salt to the water
  2. boil the water
  3. add oatmeal into the water, mix well
  4. add milk, mix well
  5. heat the mixture slowly and keep stirring until it is boiled again
  6. add butter, and then mix well
